About Pulse
Why we teach
Applied behavior analysis just works. It is the most studied way of helping children with autism and other developmental needs learn new skills. But good teaching of it is scarce, and the cost of training keeps good, and genuinely passionate, people out.
Pulse Therapy and Learning Center is a children's therapy center in Dubai that specializes in training the people who work with children every day: parents, nannies, teachers, and the therapists and assistants who want a career in this field. We teach what the factual evidence supports, and the science of behavior. Compassion for our young children and learners is part of our DNA, not an add-on or an afterthought.
Free coursework, and why
The 40-hour coursework for the ABAT® and IBT® credentials is free at Pulse. You pay only for what needs an expert's time: an online live class, supervision, the competency assessment, or a certificate attested by the Dubai Government.
We did it because the fee for the coursework was the first wall in a young therapist's way, and it was the one we could remove. We wanted to cross borders, and share this wonderful science with anyone keen on learning, not limited by borders, but only by their passion for working with children of determination.
Who teaches
Every online live class is taught by a BCBA or a BCaBA with extensive experience working across homes, schools, and clinics, and most importantly with many different cultures and values. Compassionate teaching through evidence-based approaches comes first and foremost while applying ABA principles with our learners.

How we are listed
Pulse is listed by QABA as a coursework provider for ABAT®. Pulse is listed by IBAO as an approved content provider for IBT®. The boards award the credentials, by their own exams and entry rules. Our courses are run under a permit from KHDA, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority of the Government of Dubai. On ABAT/IBT, KHDA attests one certificate: the IBT coursework certificate.
