Pulse Learning Hub is run by Pulse Therapy and Learning Center, Dubai. This page says, in plain words, what happens to your information on this site.

The fit check

Your answers are kept in your own browser, on your own device, so you can stop and come back. Nothing goes to Pulse unless you choose to send it. Answers older than 30 days are discarded the next time you open the fit check. You can clear them at any time: from the result page, or with "Start over" on the fit check.

There is one thing you can choose to send us. If you told the fit check you cannot attend our class times, your result offers to open an email with your preferred study hours already written in it. Nothing happens unless you press it, and you still send the email yourself. We use those hours only to plan the times of future cohorts.

When you add a study plan to your calendar, it goes straight into your own calendar. Pulse does not see it. If you choose Google Calendar, the plan opens on Google's own page.

Registering and booking a meeting

When you sign up on this site, Pulse keeps your name, the email address of the Google account you signed in with, your WhatsApp number, the country you are in, the course or courses you chose, and — for the online live cohort — the cohort, the package you said you are interested in, whether you applied for the student price, whether you are signing up together with others, and whether you hold an RBT 40-hour training certificate issued before December 31, 2022. It also records that you accepted the registration terms: which version, and the moment you accepted them. It notes whether Pulse has marked your spot as paid, the day it was marked, who at Pulse marked it, and, if you ask to change your course or cohort after paying, what you asked for until Pulse answers. If you registered on our Google form with the same email address, your account also shows that registration: the course, the cohort, the offer you chose, and whether we have marked it as paid. If we set up a payment link for your spot or for your Google form registration, the record also keeps the link, the amount, the day to pay by, who at Pulse set it up and when, when we opened a WhatsApp message or email about it, and, if you sign up together, how many of you there are; every link set up for you is kept until your record is deleted. It also keeps your date of birth and your highest qualification, which we ask for when you sign up. For the student or RBT-holder price, it notes who at Pulse checked your documents or certificate, and when. If you sign up together, it keeps your code, the day you paid, and the discount your payment got. After a self-paced course, your record notes if you paid for the ABAT competency assessment, when, and who marked it. If you pay separately for the KHDA attested certificate, your record notes when you paid and who marked it. It also notes the day you finished the course, which KHDA needs. If your ABAT competency assessment is booked before we check your documents, your record notes that too. That is the whole sign-up record. Documents and KHDA details are kept separately, as described below. The sign-up form never asks for your passport, your government ID, your nationality, or your religion. The sections on documents and KHDA below say who is asked, and when. The record is kept with Google Firebase, on Google's servers in Doha, Qatar (Google's me-central1 region), and only the Pulse administrator can see it. You can change your application yourself by signing in. If you have already paid and you change the course or the cohort, Pulse confirms the change. Before you pay, if your spot is on a code, message us to change its cohort, package, or price. You can ask us to delete your record. We then keep only what KHDA and the boards require, and tell you until when.

Each code for signing up together keeps its cohort and the spots that joined it, in order. It notes when a spot was taken off or moved to another code, and who at Pulse took it off.

The code also notes each refund we mark as sent: the amount, when, and who at Pulse marked it. Only our administrator sees what a code keeps.

Others on your code see only how many have paid, never your name. If you type a code we cannot find, we count it for that day, to limit guessing.

For the student or RBT-holder price, you email us your transcript and letter of motivation, or your RBT certificate. We use them only to check that price.

If you sign up on our Google form, your answers go to an older Pulse Google account. We copy them into Google Sheets on our training account, training@pulsetlc.com.

That form closes on November 1, 2026.

If you book a call on the Google Calendar page, what you type there goes to Pulse's Google Workspace account.

Both are used only to reserve your spot, contact you about your course, and keep the records certificate authorities require.

Our instructors can post a message in Google Classroom to one batch of learners in a class. A batch is, for example, everyone who started in the same month.

It shows in Classroom under the instructor's name. To send it, the Hub reads the class list at that moment and keeps none of it.

The Hub keeps who posted it, to which class and batch, how many learners it went to, and when. It does not keep a list of who received it.

Signing in as a learner

Learners sign in with a Google account. Google tells us your name, email address, and profile picture. We keep your profile with Google Firebase, the service this site is built on. We never see your Google password.

When you tell My account you have checked your Google storage, only your browser keeps the date. My account asks again after 30 days.

When Google Classroom tracking is on, the Hub reads which required assignments you turned in and when, never their contents.

For the ABAT competency assessment, your record keeps the assessor you chose and when your assessment was booked.

The “Check again” button on My account reads only your own submissions. We keep when you last pressed it, to limit how often.

For online live cohorts, your record also keeps whether you met the attendance rule and turned in the required work. For Google form sign-ups, it notes whether we hold the ID you sent with the form. It keeps the name we listed for your certificates and when they were sent. If your KHDA details give your English name as in your passport, we compare it with the name for your certificates. If we print that name on your ABAT and IBT certificates, your record keeps it for 7 years, even after your KHDA details are deleted. We keep all of this for 7 years, like the rest of your training record.

We keep a record of the course emails and WhatsApp messages we send you (which message and when) with your training record.

If we review your attendance, we also keep your Google Meet minutes for each class.

What we never collect here

Card or bank details: payments happen on the payment provider's own secure page.

Information about a child, with the one exception described next. This site is for adult learners — please do not enter a child's name or details anywhere else on it.

Recordings of you practicing a skill

Some coursework tasks, and the ABAT competency assessment, ask you to record yourself practicing a skill. IBT supervision asks for no recordings. You may always do this with an adult who plays the part of the child, so that no child is recorded. Not having a child to practice with never stops you from being assessed.

If you practice with a child, the child does not need to have autism or any diagnosis. Pulse never asks for medical, diagnostic, or school reports about a child. We look only at your skills.

If a child appears in a recording, you must first have the written consent of the child's parent or guardian, on the Pulse consent letter, and you must turn that letter in as well, in the place Pulse gives you for it. Without the letter, Pulse does not open or assess the recording.

Send the signed letter in Your documents, on your account. Apart from the recording, it is the only information about a child that we keep.

Record only what the task needs. Do not say or show the child's full name, school, or home address. Submit recordings only in the place Pulse gives you for them — never by WhatsApp, by email, or in a shared folder.

Only the people at Pulse who assess you watch a recording. Pulse keeps your assessment records on file. Pulse removes video files one year after you upload them. When you have passed, Pulse emails you, and you can then ask for your recordings to be removed sooner. A parent or guardian can withdraw their consent at any time, and Pulse then removes the recording.

Your documents

On the ABAT/IBT online live cohort, we ask for copies of your documents once your spot is paid. On the self-paced ABAT/IBT course, we ask only once you pay for the KHDA certificate or the ABAT competency assessment.

They are your passport, and your Emirates ID if you have one. They also include your high school certificate, or a higher one, and a police clearance or background check.

Before you book the ABAT competency assessment, we check your certificate and your police clearance. If a child appears in your recordings, we also need a parent's signed consent form for each child.

A police clearance shows whether you have a criminal record. Some of what we keep is sensitive: a police clearance, your religion, and a letter about a child.

Send your documents only in Your documents, on your account. If you send them by email or WhatsApp, we do not keep them and ask you to send them again.

We keep copies in a locked store in the Hub, on Google's servers in Doha, Qatar. Only our administrator can open them all, and we record who opened which document, and when.

The assessor you chose can also open your certificate, police clearance, and consent forms to prepare your assessment. Your passport, Emirates ID, and KHDA details stay with our administrator.

The boards (QABA for ABAT, IBAO for IBT) may ask to see your documents in an audit.

Both boards are outside the UAE. Your account shows which documents we have, and which are still missing.

When you send a new copy, we delete an earlier copy we never checked after 30 days.

The KHDA (Dubai Government) attested certificate

KHDA (Dubai Government) needs copies of your passport and your government ID to attest a certificate. On the ABAT/IBT courses we ask every learner for them; on ABA Foundation, only if you choose that certificate.

We ask for them after you sign up, only in Your documents, on your account. We use them for your KHDA application and for KHDA inspections of our records.

For the certificate, KHDA's form also asks for more details about you. They are your name as in your passport, your name in Arabic if you choose to give it, gender, nationality, religion, and country of birth.

It also asks your date of birth, your highest qualification, and your passport and Emirates ID numbers. We also send KHDA the email address and WhatsApp number on your account.

We ask these details only for that certificate, and share them only with KHDA. We also use your name as in your passport to check the name on your ABAT and IBT certificates. We keep your confirmation that they match your passport, give you a KHDA Student ID, and note when we sent your details and when KHDA attested.

After KHDA attests your certificate, these typed details are due for deletion 90 days later. We then check the list and delete them.

If another KHDA certificate of yours is still waiting, we wait until KHDA attests that one too.

How long we keep your documents

We keep your documents for 7 years after your ABAT/IBT course, assessment, or KHDA attestation, whichever ends last. On ABA Foundation with the KHDA certificate, we keep them for 3 years after your course ends.

KHDA and the boards can inspect them during that time. If no course needs them kept, we keep them for 1 year after you last sent one.

Then we delete them. Deleted items can stay in our backups for up to 98 days.

After deleting, we keep only a note that we deleted them, without your name or email address. Your sign-up record stays until you ask us to delete it.

Cookies, tracking, and other companies

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies today. If that ever changes, you will be asked first.

The site is hosted on Google Firebase. When you open a page, your browser therefore sends Google your IP address and your browser details, as it does for any website it opens. The sign-in service also keeps a small technical record in your browser, even before you sign in.

Your accessibility settings stay in your own browser. We never see them.

Read aloud uses only a voice on your own device, so the page's words stay on it.

On the ABAT/IBT online live cohort, we message you on WhatsApp about your course, from +1 555 796 2927.

These messages go through ManyChat and WhatsApp (Meta), which keep your details under their own terms. Reply STOP to stop them.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We keep what KHDA and the boards require until its time ends.

Email us and a person will answer.
